Play Uno

1. The first thing to do to play Uno, is of course, buy Uno cards. You will also 2-4 players.

2. The next thing is is to shuffle and each of you get a card. Just one! The person with the highest number is the dealer.

3. You each will get 7 cards. The rest will be used to draw from if you cannot place a card you have already down.

4. Turn the top card on the pile that you draw from, on the table and that will start the game!

5. Now you need to start rotation. The person left of the dealer will start by putting a card down if they have a color that matches or a number that matches the card that was put down from the drawing pile. If it is a skip, that person is skipped, if it is a draw 2, that person has to draw 2, ect.

6. A tricky part of the game is the wild cards, skips, reverses, draw fours. I will explain them all. A wild card is used whenever you want to. They get to pick a color for the next card. A skip is simple, the next person is skipped. A reverse is simple also, unless there is only 2 players. If there are 2 people, you can reverse it back to and if you have another reverse, reverse it back to you, and if you have a skip also, you can skip it back to you, and ect. If there are more than 2 then it goes back to the person that was before you. Draw fours and semi-simple. They make the next person draw four, and you get to pick the color you want. You need to think though, what cards do you have the most and least of.

7. If you cannot put a card in the pile, draw a card from the draw pile, you can draw up to 2 then it moves on to the next person.

8. Now something that I alwayssssss forget! When you have two cards left, you need to say UNO when you put the next one down! Before it hits the pile or someone can say, draw 2 which means of course, you have to draw to as a punishment for not saying UNO in time.

9. Once you or another player runs out of cards, THEY WIN!

10. When the game is over, tally the scores. When you tally the scores, the person that got rid of their cards first, gets all the points. Draw 2's, reverses, and skips are 20pts. Wild cards, and plus fours, are 50pts. The other cards are the numbers that they are.

  1. I appreciate that you rewrote the article in your own words, and even added more. So far you've used wikihow.com twice in a row. I hope you don't exclusively use this website in future posts :(

    Another good post :) 10/10
