For as long as I can remember at every family event, my Regular Grandma(don't ask me why we call her "regular" grandma, my sister started it) has been making something we call Orange Stuff. I think the technical name for it is "Orange Jello Salad." My grandma was supposed to make my moms orange fluff, but just didn't turn out right. It turned out better! It is like heaven on earth!
Step 1. Get your ingredients! You will need 2 small boxes of tapioca, tub of Cool Whip, and small can of mandarin oranges, and a box of orange Jello.Step 2. You cook the tapioca and jello together as directed on the box pudding. The most important part of this whole recipe is to let the pudding/jello cool all the way! I would say at least an hour.
Step 3. Once the pudding is fully cooled, fold in the Cool Whip. Step 4. Put some of the oranges in the pudding, then put the rest on top in a circle.
That's it. I would put it in the fridge for a few hours though because it is the best right out of the fridge. It will get liquidy if you leave it out. Don't leave it out longer than about 2-3 hours. It would be to liquidy. Just not as good... Makes me sad thinking about it.
